What will it cost?
Fees are set nationally and locally and as from 1st January and valid until the 31st December
Weddings
The basic fee for a wedding is £440.00. This includes the use of the church, calling of Banns, the priest, organist and contributions towards heating, lighting and some flowers
Extras are as follows:- Bells (after service) £80.00
Choir £60.00
Video permission* £80.00
* video permission is for one camera to film the whole service
Baptisms
There are no fees for Baptisms/Christenings. Parents are asked to make a donation, gift-aided where appropriate, before or at the service
Calling of Banns of Marriage
Where it is necessary to have Banns of Marriage called in another parish the fee payable to that parish is currently £34.00.
Blessings
The fees for a service of Blessing are the same as for a wedding (see above)
Wedding Anniversaries
There is no official charge but we do ask that you cover our expenses by donation. (e.g. Organist £50.00, Verger £30.00, Heat & Light £50.00)
There is no charge for the Minister.
Funerals
A funeral service in church costs £179.00 and includes church and clergy, organist and verger. It does not include burial, cremation costs or memorials. If required there will be an extra travelling fee to Crematoria or Cemeteries outside Flitwick of £20.00
